What should I know before installing a new furnace?

The furnace has to suit your home, your ductwork and your venting. That is why the free inspection comes first.

How do I know what size furnace I need?

Size depends on the home, not just its square footage. We look at the layout, ductwork and how the house is used before recommending equipment.

Will my existing ducts work with a new furnace?

Often yes, sometimes with changes. We check them and handle sheet metal work in house.

Do I pay for the estimate?

Nothing. There is no charge to come out, and the inspection and estimate are free with no obligation.

Who will install my furnace?

The owner, Robert Elmore, who has 45 years of hands-on experience. You deal directly with him, not a hired worker.

Expert Furnace Installation in Concord, CA

Furnace installation in Concord is more than setting a new unit in place. Winters in Contra Costa County are mild, but the coldest mornings still depend on a furnace that is correctly matched to the home and correctly connected to its ductwork, venting, gas and electrical. At Air Time Mechanical, Inc., we start each job with a free inspection of your current furnace and ducts before recommending any equipment. Homes here range from older houses with original ductwork to newer layouts, and each needs a slightly different approach, so proper sizing matters. We install furnaces of all major brands, and because sheet metal is part of what we do, transitions and ducting are built or modified in house. The furnace is run and checked before we finish. You get the price on the spot, with no obligation. Call Air Time Mechanical, Inc. at (925) 639-5233 to schedule your free furnace installation inspection in Concord.
