How do I know if my Concord home needs a new AC installation or just a repair?

If the home has never had air conditioning, or the current system is old, failing and costing more to repair each year, a new installation is worth considering. The free inspection shows where your system stands, and you get the price on the spot.

What type of air conditioning system works best for homes in Contra Costa County?

Summers here are hot and dry, so the right system depends on the size of the home, its ductwork and how you use it. We work on all major brands and explain the options that fit your house during the free inspection.

Does Air Time Mechanical look at sizing before installing a new AC?

Yes. We look at the home, including sun exposure, windows, ceilings and ductwork, before recommending equipment, because a system that is too big or too small will not perform well.

Can you install air conditioning in a home with no existing ductwork?

Sheet metal and ductwork are part of what we do, so we can talk through what your home needs after seeing it in person. The inspection is free.

Why does proper AC sizing matter so much in Concord?

An oversized unit can shut off before it cools the house evenly, and an undersized one runs constantly and still falls behind on hot days. A system matched to the home cools more evenly and puts less strain on the equipment.

Who will I be dealing with when I call?

The owner, Robert Elmore, who has 45 years of hands-on experience. You deal directly with him, not a hired worker.

Expert Air Conditioning Installation in Concord, CA

Air conditioning installation in Concord is not a one-size-fits-all job. Summers in Contra Costa County are long, hot and dry, and dusty air puts extra strain on every system we install. At Air Time Mechanical, Inc., we start each job with a free inspection. We look at your home's size, insulation, window exposure and the condition of your ductwork before recommending any equipment. Homes with west-facing windows or a lot of afternoon sun carry higher cooling loads than square footage alone suggests, so proper sizing matters. We install central air conditioning systems for homes and commercial properties, and because sheet metal is part of what we do, ductwork is modified or added in house when a new system needs it. You get the price on the spot, and you can say no with nothing owed. Call Air Time Mechanical, Inc. at (925) 639-5233 to schedule your free installation inspection in Concord.
